I've been thinking about getting back into the blog in recent weeks, but getting the rhythm - and the time - has been tough. There's certainly much to comment about - on the state, national, and international scenes.
I will mention that Ed Lorenzen of the Concord Coalition gave testimony this week before Congress on the proposed Presidential line-item veto. His take is that while the line-item veto is likely to be useful tool, it won't be enough by itself to control federal spending that has gotten out of control. There is likely a lot of truth in his statements.
