While I find much of what comes out of The New Republic and Peter "Prime Fighting Age" Beinart to be shilling for our immoral misadventure in Iraq (why ARE these people obsessed with Scoop Jackson, anyway?), Beinart is exactly right here.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - the neocons have taken the feminist dictum "the personal is political" and expanded it to "everything is political." There's an irony there, to be sure.
